It's 12:30 Mon. morning (Labor Day) and Logan wakes up screaming and crying because of a terrible earache I drive all over town looking for a store open to buy eardrops and finally find a Longs drugs, on the other side of town, open. I get home and give him the drops, Dennis rubs his back and we play soft music, he falls asleep and we think he'll be ok. Again he wakes up crying and screaming and says his ear is worse, it is now 3am. After a half hour, I can't take it any more and don't think he can either, we decide to take him to emergency, thank goodness it's a slow night and they see him right away. Yes, it's a really bad ear infection and they give him pain med and antibiotics. We go home, it's 4am, and we sleep until 2pm.
What a crazy couple of weeks! I can't believe what Logan has been through. Today he is fine he went back to school last Tues. I think we are staying home this weekend and vegetating.

Holey Moley Lady!! It is so awful to have sick kids!! Poor you!! Jared used to have HORRID ear aches, so I feel your pain!

That is horrible! There is nothing worse than listening to your children in pain and not being able to fix it :( Good luck! I hope things are better soon
